Deeply influenced by old gospel hymns, rock & roll, and the country music she grew up with, Singer/Songwriter Lori Lofstrom’s style has been described as Americana Soul. With rich, soothing vocals, she draws listeners in with her well-crafted lyrics and storytelling. In 2017, she rediscovered her love of songwriting, never thinking it would eventually lead to her to record her debut album, Finding Home (2023). In 2024, she released two singles wrapping up the year with a holiday album, Falling into Christmas. In 2025, she released her second full length album, Red Lights Right Turns.
You will often find her at home writing songs on an 1883 refurbished upright Steinway piano or her growing collection of guitars and other stringed instruments. When asked, who is this song about…she laughs and replies “I mostly make this stuff up and sprinkle it with a little bit of truth.”

Deeply influenced by the old gospel hymns, rock & roll, and the country music she grew up with, Singer/Songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Lori Lofstrom’s style has been described as Americana Soul. With her rich, soothing vocals, she draws listeners in with her well-crafted lyrics and storytelling.
Music has always been the constant. Her first solo at church when she was four which lead to piano lessons, choirs, and trading in her clarinet in 9th grade for a guitar. After spending most of her adult life focusing on her non-music career, in 2017 she decided it was not too late to pursue her passion for music and writing.
She dusted her guitar off performing mostly covers, never thinking it would eventually lead to her to release her debut album, Finding Home (2023) featuring 10 of her original songs. In the first half of 2024, she released to singles, Let's Have Some Fun and Promises Unclaimed. She wrapped up the year with a holiday album, Falling into Christmas. In 2025, she released her second full length album, Red Lights Right Turns.

Now she loves performing her songs along with a mix covers with a twist that cross multiple decades spanning a variety of music styles. She makes her home in Stillwater, MN, located in the beautiful St. Croix Valley, where she enjoys time with friends, family, fellow musicians and music lovers.
Red Lights Right Turns - October/December 2025
Singer-Songwriter, Lori Lofstrom, released her second full length album with 11 songs about bad decisions, trying to make better decisions and closing out with a song about chasing dreams. Here she explores a variety of genres that consistantly lean into her Americana Soul roots without skipping a beat. While she brought in a number of artist to play on this album, she played a variety of instruments on this album. She hopes you enjoy this album as much as she enjoyed creating it.
Falling into Christmas - November 29, 2024
Singer-Songwriter, Lori Lofstrom, thought writing a Christmas song would be fun, but as it turned out, writing many was better. With a retro feel, Falling into Christmas is the collection of five new songs including a few holiday love songs, a Christmas story song from the Star of Bethlehem’s point of view, and a re-imagined version of Away in the Manger.
Promises Unclaimed – June 26, 2024
From the depths of heartbreak and temporary fixes, Promises Unclaimed blurs the line between the what the heart wants and what the body wants. With rich vocals that build throughout, this singer-songwriter, soulful ballad reminds us what its like to loose love and find comfort with a stranger. As the second single release for 2024, this independent singer-songwriter continues to explore the range of Americana music styles writing songs that listeners connect to their own experience.
Let’s Have Some Fun – April 19, 2024
After releasing her debut album, Finding Home, in 2023, Lori Lofstrom decided that she would explore the art of releasing singles. Working one song at a time, each song gets the time to discover it’s full potential. On April 19, Let’s Have Some Fun releases getting the chance to show off a playful lyrics mixed sith traditional rock elements with local artists Brad McLemore on Telecaster, Charlie Milky on Bass, Daryl Bolicek on Drums/Percussion, and Lori on piano and Rhodes/Hammond organ. Working again with her co-producer and owner of Wild Horse Recording, Daryl Bolicek, they mixed in rich layers of harmonies which really brings the song to life.
Finding Home – February 2023
In her debut album, Finding Home brings together some of her favorite songs she had written so far. Ten songs that share love, loss, growth, and the metaphoric search for finding home. This journey into music and songwriting has brought out the understanding of how pursuing your passions leads leads to feeling comfortable within your own skin and at home with who you are becoming.
